Role Summary
The Manager of Datacenter and Networks is responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating the design, installation, and connectivity of our computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization's and our banking clients' IT assets. This role manages Data Center operations end-to-end, including servers, hardware, integration of new technologies, and the 24/7 operations team, while maintaining strict adherence to financial security standards.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Infrastructure Design
  • Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future banking requirements.
  • Ensure data center related priorities are consistent with company objectives.
  • Design and scale high-compute network architectures to support advanced internal development initiatives, including infrastructure for Agentic AI platforms and financial modeling.
  • Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, and scope of work reports for IT projects.
Data Center & Migration Operations
  • Manage on-site and off-site data centers, including leading complex, cross-border infrastructure migrations.
  • Oversee the management and implementation of multiple mission-critical projects across the sites.
  • Manage the optimal operation of all network and infrastructure-based hardware, including routers, switches, UPSs, power supply, and cooling/HVAC systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting on data centers, strictly managing Incidents, Problem tickets, and Change Controls to reduce risk and utilize safe times for repair.
Asset & Vendor Management
  • Practice infrastructure asset management, including maintenance of component inventory, life cycle management, and related documentation.
  • Own supplier relationships and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure performance, quality, and contractual commitments for network products and services.
Security & Compliance
  • Manage and ensure the effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Ensure a safe and secure facility to protect systems, implementing emergency response, physical security, and incident management protocols.
  • Enforce strict compliance with financial regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) and facilitate infrastructure readiness for internal and external IT audits.
Team Leadership & Support
  • Lead a team of technicians/leads, providing regular feedback and mentoring them to achieve strategic business goals.
  • Establish service level agreements (SLAs) with end-users and take “ownership” of problems through final resolution.


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in large enterprise environments, specifically with data center space planning, power, and airflow optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of technical hardware, physical layer infrastructure, and data center computing systems (cabling, network, storage, and server equipment).
  • Experience using DCIM applications for data center management and drafting software such as Microsoft Visio.
  • Excellent English language skills (written & spoken).
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Preferred Certifications
  • Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOMM).
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP) Data Center.
  • VMware Certified Professional 6- Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV).
  • Industry-standard information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CISA).
