Job Description: QA Manual
Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills
Strong experience in manual testing for Web and Mobile applications (Android & iOS).
Solid experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, System, and Database testing.
Hands-on experience in defect tracking and test management tools (DevOps, JIRA, Zephyr or similar).
Experience in API testing.
Ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios independently.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Experience supporting UAT activities and stakeholder coordination.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or similar).
Experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks; basic automation exposure is acceptable.
Experience in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
Ability to estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Ability to provide clear and timely status reporting.
Leadership skills or mentoring experience for junior QA team members.

Qualifications (Education & Certifications)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
ISTQB certification (Foundation or higher).
Relevant testing or Agile certifications.
Experience
4–6 years of proven experience in software testing.
Mandatory experience in Financial / Banking domain.
Experience handling end-to-end testing ownership for medium-to-large projects.
Experience in test process improvement initiatives.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
